Meet Our Staff

Dawn of Discovery is staffed by highly trained and skilled teachers dedicated to helping your child reach his or her full potential. To ensure staff quality, we select experienced teachers that are passionate about children.

All of our staff are CPR and 1st Aid Certified as well as trained in Abusive Head Trauma and Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.

Ms. Jenna | Owner/Director

Jenna has a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from St. Cloud State University. Graduating with honors Magna Cum Laude. She has over 15 years of experience creating lesson plans, implementing curriculum, and caring for children in childcare centers. Jenna has a passion for caring for children and watching them learn and grow. In her spare time Jenna enjoys being outside, running, and spending time with her daughter and husband.

Ms. Patty | Owner/Administrator

Patty has 15 years of experience in the medical field as a medical assistant. She has been married for 30 years and has three beautiful girls. In her free time she enjoys physical fitness and training, family time at the lake, family traditions, and traveling. She understands that having a caring, positive, and nurturing environment will build self confidence in our children and will help them discover new things.

Ms. Andrea | Assistant Director

Welcome Andrea who joined our Dawn of Discovery Family in April of 2016! Andrea has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education with a Kindergarten and Special Education Endorsement from South Dakota State University. She has over 13 years of experience teaching infants through school age children. For the past 8 years she has been creating, implementing, and assessing developmentally age appropriate curriculum. In her free time she enjoys cooking, snowmobiling, fishing, spending time at the family cabin.

Ms. Hailey | Administrator

We are excited to introduce you to Ms. Hailey. Hailey joined our Dawn of Discovery Family in March of 2015! Hailey has been part of the Dawn of Discovery team for 4 years and has loved working with kids for as long as she can remember. She likes to help kids grow in a safe, supportive and fun environment. Hailey received her Child Development Associate Certification in April of 2017. In her spare time she likes to spend time with her niece and nephew, go to her cabin, read, roller-blade, swim, play with her cats, and spend time with family and friends. She can't wait to get to know and work with you and your child(ren)!
